I have been baking since elementary school! Well, I should say that my pies really weren't edible in the beginning - they were made out of dirt. I eventually moved on to real ingredients but my first attempts were not very successful. I once baked brownies when I was too young to understand measurements and put in a 1/4 cup of salt instead of a 1/4 teaspoon. There is nothing like looking forward to tasting yummy looking chocolate batter only to find it salty beyond belief!

Now that I have mastered measuring and acquired a variety of other techniques to be added to my skill set, I'd like to share them with you. Maybe you think baking isn't "your thing" or you don't feel confident enough to tackle a recipe on your own. Whatever the case, I'm here to help.

So much of baking starts with a good recipe but there are many tricks and skills needed to be successful. Nothing has to be perfect, it just needs to be delicious! Over the years, I have collected and tested many recipes I keep the recipes that result in the best outcomes. In the end, we want those recipies that are tried and true and we get great results from every time.

If you have a desire to DIY your own treats but you are missisng equipment, supplies, or confidence, try d.i.y. with help. It's always more fun baking with others.

Don't just hang around, bake!
